This is fantastic. :) Definitely gives off a vibe of that old Hollywood feel, which I love. The brass sounds really great.

Bosa responds:

Thank you very much! I was hoping somebody would feel the same vibe as me eventually.

Very beautiful piece you have here. It's raining where I am right now, so this is the perfect time to listen to this. :) Very peaceful and soothing. I love the note placement. The only thing I'd suggest is to cut off the very last three or four seconds. Good job on this.

erlendflatin responds:

Thank you very much for you kind words :) The reason there is some space at the end is to let all the reverb fade naturally. I'd rather have it do that, than to have a sudden cut, or to obvious fade out ;)

Wowww, this is fabulous! Love it! :) Very catchy, and well composed. Amazing job!

Step responds:

Thanks ^_^. Glad you enjoyed it.

This is wonderful, wow. I'd offer constructive criticism, but I can't find anything to offer this piece. :) Is that a real guitar? Love the sound of it, so beautiful.

DanJohansen responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback, yeah, real guitar :)

This is so beautiful..... :O No constructive criticism to offer, just stop being so perfect! You're making the rest of us look bad! :) Hahaha.
Might I ask where you got that violin? Sounds so real.... piano too. Everything sounds great, fantastic work!

SoundChris responds:

Thanks a lot ashley! Its not as perfect in my opinion as you think - there are always little details i would change if i am listening to my stuff - doesnt matter how long i had worked on something :D

I have used the 8Dio Studio Violin and the EWQL Gypsy Violin in here - but mostly 8Dio. The sound is so real because the 8Dio Strings are phrase based and you have to cut, combine, transpose, divert, use pitch correctors etc ... just hardcore horrifying ... far to timeintensive. Thats why i would recommend the VSL Solo strings. I have listened to them in a youtube demo and it really convinced me. It sounds almost as realistic as the 8Dio, but is much easier to edit. the piano vst i have used here is the NI Alicias Keys. Meanwhile i purchased the QL Pianos platinum, but out of confirmed habit i took the alicias in here.

Thanks a lot for your kind review! All the best and a happy new year!
Chris

This is just.... so beautiful. Very emotional, makes me want to cry. The strings sound so good (Might I ask you what strings you used? They sound so amazing! I've been looking for some good string sustains for a long time to no avail, haha.) Can't really criticize this piece. I love the strings only part at 2:41 and the chords that were used! Great work! So glad you made the front page, you deserve far more attention! :) Can't wait to hear your future work! :3

ForgottenDawn responds:

Thank you for such a heartfelt response, I have quite some pieces that are currently work in progress as I announced in my NG profile. I used 8Dio Adagio Cellos and Violins, while the piano is Native Instruments' Alicia's Keys with custom EQ. Thanks again :)

Rainymood sounds wonderful with this! :) Amazing piece! This is so beautiful, the instruments are great, as is the quality. I love celtic-ish music, this gave me goosebumps!
Great job, looking forward to your future work!

Emid responds:

My pleasure and glad you enjoyed listening to it. Your's are awesome as well. Many thanks for the kind words :)

This is absolutely beautiful... Where do you get your inspiration from? I really do not have anything to criticize, this is a marvelous piece of music! Great sound, good quality... I love the strings. :) Wish I had found your music sooner! I look forward to hearing your next piece!

pavelzuk responds:

Thank you, would make sense to say inspiration comes from own experiences and emotions.

Good job, sonny! Ya make yar mommy proud! I'm very picky with dubstep, not a fan of the random weird noises, but your voice makes anything enjoyable, curse you! I wish I was Ursula, so I could steal your voice and put it into a little sea shell on a necklace... and it would be mine... MINE!

Poniiboi responds:

I would have gone until you said sea shell. I'm allergic. Don't you have a heart shaped box somewhere? With popcorn inside in case I get hungry?!

Beautiful, Thore. Stay strong. Hoping for the best. <3

NordicHazard responds:

Thx ash

I'm a self taught composer. I've never received lessons or classes for music theory or composition. I don't know notes or scales, I compose by ear. I love composing cinematic and classical sounding pieces. I also draw a lil bit, but rarely.
